It appears as though Mr. Godlewski has not yet been given his talking points/marching orders from his party.

And this is what the democratic party is all about! None are independent thinkers. Their noses are so clearly up the other's butt, that it would be impossible for them to see what's ahead!!!

Kosiur, an experienced politician, for Assembly

CARA GODLEWSKI
Schenectady
The writer is petitioning to become a county Democratic committee person.

Over the past several days I have read letters in these pages praising the Republican candidate to fill Paul Tonko’s Assembly seat. While everyone deserves a pat on the back for a good deed, I fail to see how his deeds qualify him to represent us in the Assembly.
Ed Kosiur, on the other hand, has a proven track record as an elected official. He has cut taxes, saved taxpayers millions of dollars by identifying ways local governments could work cooperatively to reduce costs and improve efficiency, and led the charge to reinvigorate our local economy.
Ed’s opponent has tried to compensate for his lack of experience by implying that being a politician is a bad thing. I couldn’t disagree more. Is Ed a politician? Yes, a great one, and that is why we elected him. He reminds me of another great politician many of us know — Paul Tonko. Assemblyman Tonko has endorsed Ed, and so do I.

Mr. Robert Godlewski's wife.

I figured as much. Too bad she made herself look foolish with that editorial since her candidate didn't win, nor should have. She was basically backing a loser. Mr. and Mrs. Godlewski will obviously fit right in with the present day democratic machine.

However, 'we the people' have to make sure Robert Godlewski does NOT get elected to the county legislature! Cause then we are in deep 'you know what'!!!

Those folks that are our leaders-----shame on them for insighting hysteria---on BOTH sides of the issue.....

leaders are to promote calm, decisive, thought out directions for the sheeple to follow........

Is there immediate danger---there is all the time, driving a car, riding a bike, going to the bank etc......hysteria and fear get us no where.....

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

STOP BEING GOOD DEMOCRATS---STOP BEING GOOD REPUBLICANS--START BEING GOOD AMERICANS

That's what the dems do...they use and run their campaigns on the good old 'fear tactic'. I think they also wrote the book 'Chicken Little'.

Okay, so we need to push for Lazzari and Santabarbara. They are the best suited to represent the people of Rotterdam. We have already heard from Carolina Lazari and Angelo Santabarbara who are very pro-active for Rotterdam.

Robert Godlewski says and does NOTHING and I dont have a clue about Anthony Jasenski except that he is a retired cop.

I agree Lazzari and Santabarbara are the ones to vote for this time. Jasenski was on the Town Board for a short time then resigned and there's no way we should vote for Bob.

County Republican Chairman Tom Buchanan also spoke against the law and challenged board member Robert Godlewski to clarify his stance toward rescinding it. Godlewski, a Democrat, is also running for a District 4 seat.
After the meeting, Godlewski said he wants to see the outcome of today’s meeting between the supervisors and county leaders.
“Based on that meeeting, we’ll need to decide what we want to do next,” he said. “We’ll see what comes out of that meeting.”

This respond did it for me! Or should I say 'no respond'.....as usual for Robert Godlewski.

He clearly drew the line in the sand with this one. He chose his party affiliation over the best interest of the Rotterdam residents that he is suppose to be representing. How much better of a job will he do on the county legislature for Rotterdam? He will just add to the already dysfunctional democratic machine!

Bob hasn'r committed to anything for the last year on the Town Board so why should he change now. If given a choice Bob seems to always vote for no change.

Okay...so now Bob's new name will be, Robert 'no change' Godlewski. Right next to Joey 'abstain' Guidarelli. And on the other side of Judy 'turncoat' Dagostino. Now I need help with Ed Kosiur. There are just too many to pick from.

Actually, what was even better is seeing Bob sit there dumbfounded when he was asked this question.  Imagine seeing him there with his jaw hanging wide open, unable to speak.  This comment only came to the writer of the paper afterwards, as Bob didn't have a thing to say when he was asked the question, and was just hoping someone else would start talking and moving the meeting along...for once.  MY gosh, Bob actually wanted a meeting to move along.  I guess maybe he just wishes he decided to not be at the meeting.

Whether it is the sex offender issue or anything else, Robert no change Godlewski will just be a puppet like the rest of the dems in Schenectady. That was more than obvious with his 'no answer' to Mr. Buchanan. Robert no change Godlewski, if elected to the county legislature to represent 'us', he will then become a full fledged member of the Schenectady dysfuntional democratic machine and then for sure, Rotterdam will get 'nothing'.

So it is a 'VOTE NO' for 'NO CHANGE'!
