Register now for waste collection CLIFTON PARK — Registration forms for the town’s annual Hazardous Household Waste Collection Day, scheduled for Sept. 29, are now available.
   Residents must preregister all items they plan to dispose of during the collection day. Registration forms are due by Sept. 7.
   Preregistration is required in order to properly prepare for all chemicals and toxic materials.
   The advance registration provides residents the opportunity to have an assigned drop-off time to avoid waiting in long lines.
   The collection is held at a specially prepared site on Ray Road, across from the town’s transfer station. Most electronics contain small amounts of hazardous substances and will be accepted during the annual event. Forms are available at Town Hall at the corner of Vischer Ferry and Clifton Park Center roads or online at http://www.cliftonpark.org by clicking on “Town Hall.”

They even have a place right on their website that you can sign up for their internet-only newsletter.  Guess they don't shell out the cost for the postage or the printing.  Wonder if they get more than 1 copy per year.

We can go to our website and read the newsletter on the site....atleast that is what the newsletter said....or is it 'coming soon'??

That was probably the  nicest town website I have seen as of late. And the idea of the newsletter was like the very best. And the idea that you can advertise on the site is even a better idea financially. I'm sure Clifton Park may charge to advertise, but that would offset the cost of the upkeep of the site. WAY TO GO CLIFTON PARK

It's there, I just don't know how often they're going to do any updates.
