Oh my!!!! I am shocked that those terrible dems would resort to trying to make Ms Lazarri look like a criminal for securing a grant for her home.  I am so personally offended that I am going to write to the editor.....

I am glad that republicans like Joe Suhrada would never resort  to falsely accusing a candidate and/or his family of committing crimes................NAAAAAAAA

Oh, wait a minute, wasn't it Joe the candyman who accused the Mallozzi's of stealing yard waste from the town which it was later discovered that the town saved $$$ by getting rid of it.  And wasnt it the same Joe and company that accused the same family of committing crimes for receiving metroplex money to open the new bakery???????????????

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.  Pot meet kettle

ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha .....that is funny......however, I'm surprised the Mallozzi's actually validated him with a response in the media......sometimes the less said the better for both parties involved....they all need to stop with the catch phrases and slogans and get to the meat.....this isn't football.....the 'news media' portrays it as such.....

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

I do agree with you on that one senders. I remember how Mallozzi's came back defending themselves which I thought was absoutely not necessary. I am not defending Mr.Suhurada here. I just felt that the Mallozzi's didn't need to get into a spitting match. And actually, NOTHING ever came from it anyways!! It just reinforced how pathetic politics can be! And that is one of the reasons why people don't want to be bothered, nor do they choose to listen, nor do they choose to get involved in the process.

Too much mud-slinging!

Politics by definition is dirty. Politicians by nature are dirty.
With THAT being said, mud slinging is only wrong when it is not FACTUAL.
When "mudslinging" is a presentation of verifiable acts of malfeasance by sitting elected politicians........it can no longer be characterized as "mudslinging".
It can only be seen as politics at its best.
If there is "MUD" around that I, a voter, don't know about?
Sling it here, I wanna get dirty.

I would remark on it, but as usual, I try to see something before I make a determination on it.

Looks like the pigs rejoined the forum.  Get ready for the anti-republican smear campaign. Let the fun begin.

The most dangerous man to any government is the man who is able to think things out for himself, without regard to the prevailing superstitions and taboos. Almost inevitably he comes to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane and intolerable, and so, if he is romantic, he tries to change it. And even if he is not romantic personally he is apt to spread discontent among those who are. ~ H.L. Mencken

Um...Cicero, aren't you usually part of that???

Seems I can smell election time in the bulletin board again.  Seems a little early though.

Ya know what, you're right, I am part of that.  I meant anti-Tomasone smear campaign.

Tomasone didn't raise our town tax rate, that shows a little fiscal conseratism.  At least he's a local county republican that has a strain of conservatism running through him.  We still have time though, there is a few weeks until the election.  Ya never know what you can find out.

Remember,,,,,just because somebody has a (R) next to their name, they don't get a free pass from the scrutiny.

Jack Denny had a (D) next to his name for many years.  Now he has an (R).  He seem to be a political party patsy.

Welcome back, Mars.  Long time no see.

Thanx Big,,,,,,,,,good to be back.
missed y'all.
I hope you don't mind me interrupting this, big "a** slappin", "atta boy" republican love in that you guys enjoy so much....
But lets be honest with each other for a minute.......
It's infinately more fun with me here.....
For all you new comers who have not had the good fortune to read the one they reverently call Mars,,,,,,,I will provide you with my mission statement,

I exist to "illuminate" the filthy terrain that the ruling majority curently finds themselves deployed upon.
I refuse to "propogate" any and all partisan rhetoric.
I will now, and for all time, vehemently "denegrate" all who attempt to justify, rationalize, or ignore the unethical and corrupt deeds of sitting elected officials.
I will "investigate" all rumors of political wrongdoing.
I vow to "dedicate" myself to the pursuit and exposure of all corrupt politicians who attempt to operate in a vacuum.

Now if you'll excuse me,,,,,,,I think I ate to much.

Bend over ladies and gents..........Mars is back.........and he's ready to send it home.

Thank God you are here again Mars. You are clearly one of those TRUE CONSERVATIVES who will surely be non-partisan. And we are just waiting for you to expose the 'truth' to us poor folk here in Rotterdam. So, please, fill us in on what we should do. Who we should believe. How we should vote.

And I'm sure that your job informing us will become burdensome since the job of exposing all corrupt politicians will include ALL politicians, in all the respected political parties.... correct?

And may I add that I will not be able to banter all day on this site....I have a family function to go to. So I'll be popping in and out today. I wouldn't want you to think that I was igoring you!

Mars is not here to tell you how to vote, (see mission statement, its fairly explicit in detailing my intent)
As far as the upcoming supervisors race? I view that much in the way I would view standing in an alley facing a guy with a gun. And he's asking me whether I want it in the head or the knee. Steve is definately a head guy,(no pun intended), and Cooke is a knee guy. Now,,,,,,I still can die from a knee shot, but I'll DEFINATELY die from a head shot.,,SO,,,,,with that being said...........I'll take it in the knee.
As for exposing ALL politicians,,,,,,ALL means ALL. The County Dems, are clearly out of control, The County Police Departments are spoiled and overpaid, But THESE morons running the town are off the charts. Not only are they corrupt, but they appear to be writing a masters thesis titled,"The theory, application and implementation of the destruction of the Republican party in the Town of Rotterdam and County of Schenectady for decades"
LMAO....
Clowns to the left of me,,,,Jokers to the right,,,,,,,Mars in the middle again.
I also "Educate".,,,,,It's recess Bum,,,,,go to your function, suck down a hot dog and a yoohoo and hurry back. Class is in session.
