There are roughly 1300 registered conservatives in Rotterdam
Okay MARS, if there are in fact approx 1300 registered consrvs and out of that how many are registered cops? Whatever that amount is, will be the ONLY GUARENTEED vote for Cooke, or anyother candidate the conservs endorsed. So the idea of the conservs being the swing vote...I'm not quite so sure in this election.
You see MARS, perhaps I am a registered conservative. Perhaps the REAL conservative members are not happy with law enforcement taking over the party. Perhaps the REAL conservative members are NOT happy with the leadership of the party (Randy Pasquarella). Perhaps the majority of the conservative party members WILL in fact vote republican. The reps are far from being doomed as you stated.

Further, with all due respect, your statement (quoted above) sounds a trifle self-grandizing. Why is it that you suggest we should all consider you the savior?
Finally, why do you always refer to yourself in the third party in your postings? Are there more than one of you?
Again, I really want to understand your position(s) on the issues so that I can afford to you the respect that is deserved.

Z - MARS is a colorful sort, if you will. S/he will banter on and on. MARS can also be very humerous and obnoxious at times. S/he seems to have a ton of catch phrases that when you read them, you can't help but laugh! When MARS is on board, all you can do is hold on to your seat and expect the unexpected.
MARS was on board with the old site before it crashed. This is her/his first appearence since this new one started.
And did anyone get the computerized phone message from Robert Denny's wife defending the allegations from the 'smoking gun' flier that went out? Well,, what I found most humorous was how she said it was just the dems up to their dirty tricks. In part she is correct. But what she failed to mention was that this is also the workings of his fellow police officers. AND Chief Hamilton. Cause ya know what a great chief he is, he would never allow his cops to do such a thing, right? Oh and I believe that Chief Hamilton is on the exectutive board of the great Rotterdam Conservative party. Coincidence? HARDLY! Cause ya see folks, Hamilton don't want to negotiate with Tommasone either! Hamilton wants the puppetman, Cooke!
Come on people, we are smarter than this! Tommasone is truly the better candidate here for the future of Rotterdam. It's a no brainer!
What do the rest of the local law enforcement agencies think about Rotterdam's "Officer's Conservatives Club"? Are they all rolled into one enchalada???

I looked at both sides of the smoking gun smear pamphlet, I couldn't find an alternative candidate to vote for. Not one mention of Willie Cooke. It just smeared Tommasone. I guess Willie doesn't have a platform to run on, so the democrats/conservatives(cops) hope to just smear Tommasone with old news and hope the people will just go out and vote for a democrat. I guess the next question the people of Rotterdam should ask is, how did this so called scandal effect the police departments ability to serve and protect the people of Rotterdam? Has the crime rate gone up do to the police departments inability to respond to calls?? Correct me if I'm wrong.....Don't we have more officers protecting the streets of Rotterdam now than prior to the police commission episode?? Without an increase in town taxes I might add.
Resident of Rotterdam must keep their eye on the ball. Let's not get side tracked with the politics within the police department. Oh yes,,,,, and lets not forget, the town board is the over seeing body of the police department. Ask yourself, have these new hires and promotions effected the ability of our police department to do their jobs. It may have hurt the feeling of the chief, because he isn't used to having his toes stepped on......But there isn't a job out there where somebody doesn't agree with a promotion. The police department is no different. This town affords our department with the newest equipment, and pays our officers some of the highest salaries in the area. This current town board hasn't neglected the department during Tommasone's term.

Wait until someday when you have to report an accident and don't hold your breath until the police arrive. This is a small town and it shouldn't take as long as it does to reach an accident scene in the heart of town not 2 miles from the police station.

IT'S ABOUT TIME!
I was talking about this site to a friend of mine yesterday and you won't believe what happened. After talking about sports for a while, I started telling about all the corruption that had been reported in the newspapers and on the news. Now don't misunderstand me here, I told him EVERYTHING! I told him about Denny gettin promoted, even though he was a dirty cop, but was friends with tommasone. I told him about the plumber who wanted his kid hired as a safety net, even though he knew he was leaving. I told him that when he left, it was gonna cost ALOT of money to the tax payers. I told him about the whole Renna thing, I told him all of it,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,! AND, you'll never guess what he said,
He says................

He says,,,,, yeah,,,,,OK The powers that be promoted a corrupt cop............. They hired a politicians kid, EVEN THOUGH, they knew he was leaving, (and was gonna cost the taxpayers close to $100,000) Created a position for a republican candidate's son in law that cost close to $100,000

Did he compare your info with the city politicians(goons),Schenectady city PD,integrity challenged folks 'sight seeing' from the city to Rotterdam,the county Legislature(goons), the State goons, PBA goons etc etc........
Whoever controls the guns controls the masses. Whoever gets the National ID/Health card card in place gets to control the masses and take 'credit' for making us safer.
