Mohonasen advances in regionals

CHITTENANGO — Mohonasen wbroke away from a 1-1 halftime tie and defeated Fulton of Section III, 3-1, in its Class A regional semifinal game tonight at Chittenango High School.

The Warriors advance to meet Massena Saturday at 2 p.m. at Potsdam. That winner advances to the state final four the following weekend in Oneonta.

Trey Jasenski scored in the eighth minute for the Mighty Warriors. In the second half, Steve Coughlin tallied what proved to be the winning goal with 9:41 remaining, and Felix Bransch tacked on a icing goal with 1:07 left.

The Mohonasen Boys Varsity Soccer team beat Massena in the Quarterfinals this afternoon, 1-0!

Next Game: National Soccer Hall of Fame in Oneonta, NY - Saturday, November 15th
