Unless she packed up and moved from Duanesburg to Rotterdam, hence giving up her Supervisor seat in Duanesburg, I doubt it's Rene...and I think that would be a loss to the residents of Duanesburg.

Ps&Qs PDQ.....do you really think EITHER party has a fair view? Really, honest now???? how much of married to, divorced from, married to, kids by
etc, etc is in this town????? It's all about the 'me and my friends'....always has been.... and always will be?.......hence, the hole we have dug......

Parties aside....the next generation has come along.....and I am too old for it......so here we sit.........

Frank Renna has shown political interest in past .  I assume he payed his dues to the Republican party.  He would be a obvious choice to replace Mr.Silva.

The most dangerous man to any government is the man who is able to think things out for himself, without regard to the prevailing superstitions and taboos. Almost inevitably he comes to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane and intolerable, and so, if he is romantic, he tries to change it. And even if he is not romantic personally he is apt to spread discontent among those who are. ~ H.L. Mencken
