Why don't you pay for an alternative site then, righteous? And do the work to keep it up. Somebody comes to my place and threatens taking a flamethrower to it, and they wind up with more than banned.

Exactly! Any normal human being does not continue to frequent a website they don't like. And any normal human being does not threaten someone with a flamethrower.

Funny (not) how we are talking about threatening with a flamethrower on a thread that is about someone who allegedily bombed a door with an m80, huh? I guess we are staying on topic.

Terrorism charge likely in Schenectady today
Prosecution wants to keep Raucci in jail until trial

BY STEVEN COOK Gazette Reporter
Reach Gazette reporter Steven Cook at 395-3122 or scook@dailygazette.com.

Alleged arsonist Steven Raucci is expected to be returned to Schenectady today to face a terrorism charge, an official said Monday.
Raucci, 60, of Niskayuna, is scheduled to be in Clifton Park Town Court this morning for a hearing on another set of charges.
That hearing, however, is not expected to happen, possibly leading to his release to Schenectady law enforcment officers for arraignment in Schenectady City Court on the new charge. A similar situation happened with charges in Schodack Friday.
Details of the new terrorism count were not available Monday, but Saratoga County District Attorney James A. Murphy III said it involves accusations that Raucci attempted to influence the Schenectady City School District by committing a high-level felony.
Schenectady County District Attorney Robert Carney declined to comment.
The terrorism count would be Raucci’s fourth set of charges since his initial arrest Feb. 20 on arson charges stemming from a Rotterdam incident. He made $200,000 bond in that first-degree arson case but was swept off to Schodack and then Clifton Park.
Prosecutors allege Raucci, the now-suspended schools facilities director, would use explosives or other means to settle scores. The alleged incidents go back to at least 2001.
Murphy alluded to the possible terrorism charge Friday in court, part of an effort to keep Raucci in jail pending trial. Witnesses have come forward but fear Raucci would retaliate should he be released, Murphy said.
“He knows who these people are and it makes me very nervous to have him potentially out being able to have access to the victims,” Murphy said.
The terrorism count is a top-level felony, one in which Schenectady City Court would not have jurisdiction to set bail. A bail hearing would have to be held again in Schenectady County Court, where the initial arson bail hearing was held last week.
The Schenectady County arson count relates to allegations he placed an incendiary device at a Rotterdam home in August 2001. That device exploded, damaging the entryway.
In Schodack, he is accused of placing a device with a cigarette fuse at the home of a CSEA employee in January 2007. That device did not go off. Raucci was head of a local CSEA in Schenectady.
Finally, in Clifton Park, Raucci was ..........................http://www.dailygazette.net/De.....amp;EntityId=Ar01100

I  can't believe  that he was allowed bail in Schenectady County last week but when he goes to the  small town of Schodack  that judge does the right thing and sets no bail.....

Until there is more info/proof, I see these as 'allegations'. Just as the gazette stated at the beginning of their article. I believe that in this country, the law still states that one is innocent until proven guilty.

ONE IS INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY IN A COURT OF LAW.  A GRAND JURY HAS BEEN CONVENED AND HE'S BEING BROUGHT IN ON TERRORISM CHARGES.  FROM WHAT I'VE READ, THE ALLEGATIONS ARE STRONG AND HE SHOULD BE A POSTER-CHILD/INSPIRATION FOR GUANTANAMO DETAINEES.

I was on a jury once on a case where I thought the guy was guilty beyond a question of a doubt. So did the other jurors. In the end, the guy was found innocent by all of us. We were greatful for the process, cause with the little we knew from the media, we would have hung the bast***. In this case, the guy was set up.

Since that experience, I try not to jump to conclusions until I know all of the facts. IMHO

SCHENECTADY
Terror charge added against Raucci
Intimidation cited by state police

BY STEVEN COOK Gazette Reporter

Accused arsonist Steven Raucci was ordered held without bail Tuesday on a charge of terrorism involving another city school district official. Raucci, 60, the suspended city schools’ director of facilities, appeared in Schenectady City Court Tuesday to answer the latest in a series of charges filed against him. The charges have been lodged one after another by authorities to keep him in jail pending trial, officials have stated.
The terrorism count, a top-level felony, is based on accusations made last week in Saratoga County. In that case he is accused of placing an M-100, the equivalent of a quarter stick of dynamite, on the windshield of a 2004 Jeep Cherokee parked at a private residence on Hatlee Road in Clifton Park on Nov. 30, 2006. It had a cigarette for a fuse but did not go off.
State police allege with the terrorism count that Raucci intended to “influence the policy” of the Schenectady City School District by “intimidation or coercion.”
Papers do not outline any motive. The charges, however, are based on a supporting deposition provided by Gary DiNola. At the time of the incident, DiNola was winding up 33 years as a coach in many sports including varsity basketball, and as athletic director. He retired in 2007.
Schenectady County District Attorney Robert Carney declined Tuesday to elaborate on the charge. No injuries have been reported from the incidents with which Raucci is charged.
The terrorism statute was passed in response to the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, Carney said. It has been used elsewhere, including to prosecute street gangs in New York City. The law specifies offenses including explosive devices.
“I believe the theory fits the facts in this case,” Carney said.
Raucci appeared in Schenectady after a brief appearance in Clifton Park Town Court on the original Saratoga County charges.
Saratoga County District Attorney James Murphy III told the judge prosecutors did not intend to go forward with a hearing. Prosecutors said the hearings would require witnesses to testify, something they did not want.
Raucci previously posted $200,000 bond in a Rotterdam arson case, but he remains in custody. Prosecutors subsequently filed charges in Schodack, Clifton Park and now Schenectady in an effort to keep him behind bars pending trial. The effort to keep him in jail is expected to continue.
Raucci attorney Ronald DeAngelus said later that he intends to make an application to Schenectady County Court for a hearing as early as today. Raucci was not listed on the court calendar late Tuesday afternoon.
No charges have been filed relating to what has been described as an explosive device found in Raucci’s school district office after his Feb. 20 arrest. Authorities have been analyzing the device.
Prosecutors allege Raucci would use explosives or other means to settle scores. The incidents under investigation go back to at least 2001.
Witnesses have come forward but fear Raucci would retaliate should he be released, Murphy said Friday in Clifton Park court.
Schenectady City Court does not have authority to set bail on the felony terrorism charge. A bail hearing would have to be held in Schenectady County Court, where the initial arson bail hearing was held last week.
City Court Judge Christine Clark explained that to Raucci at his appearance. She also again made him aware of his rights.
Raucci has been quiet through his many appearances, looking down most of the time as he remained handcuffed. Tuesday he only answered “yes” when the judge asked if he understood his rights.
The Schenectady County arson count relates to allegations Raucci placed an incendiary device at a Rotterdam house in August 2001. That device exploded, damaging the entryway.
In Schodack, he is accused of placing a device with a cigarette fuse at the home of CSEA employee Laura Balogh in January 2007. That device did not go off. Balogh has worked in the agency’s health benefits department, newspaper records show.
Raucci was the president of the Schenectady City School District’s CSEA unit.
The CSEA Local 847, the umbrella organization that presides over all municipal bargaining units in Schenectady County, has since been placed under .....................http://www.dailygazette.net/De.....amp;EntityId=Ar00102

You failed to quote this statement. This statement has nothing to do with any cops and yet you seem hell bent on referring every post back to cops. Why?

This sand box is flawed,,,,,too deep, and the people in it may be thiefs..............
For example...........
I was playing in it a while ago and I lost something..........
I lost my mind..................
That happened right after Bum lost his ability to exercise abstract thought
It also happened after Grammy lost his desire to interpret contrary opinions in the appropriate
context of how they were delivered.
AND, it was right after Senders lost his bottle of Lithium.

(Truth be told............I don't care about anything else but the Lithium..................if found.......
PLEASE give it back!)
