Sender - Papers of hitler time?  You don't think we are already there but in a freedom kind of way?
-License and registration please.
-I need 2 forms of ID to open that account.
-We need a credit card for you to rent that room
and so on and so forth.  It isn't OMG you are a Jew!  It is ok, you are American.

very close to it.....

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

ID Card for Workers Is at Center of Immigration Plan

more in Politics »
BY LAURA MECKLER

Lawmakers working to craft a new comprehensive immigration bill have settled on a way to prevent employers from hiring illegal immigrants: a national biometric identification card all American workers would eventually be required to obtain.

Under the potentially controversial plan still taking shape in the Senate, all legal U.S. workers, including citizens and immigrants, would be issued an ID card with embedded information, such as fingerprints, to tie the card to the worker.

The ID card plan is one of several steps advocates of an immigration overhaul are taking to address concerns that have defeated similar bills in the past.

Perhaps this ID card will be incorporated into our 'proposed' national health care card. The socialists will try to pass this one through under the guise of 'immigration reform'!

.. 'We' all have a social security card/number - but they are easily tampered with - hence the real id card

and also its nice to see Bumble and Shadow can at least agree with the ACLU on something.

" It is fundamentally a massive invasion of people's privacy," said Chris Calabrese, legislative counsel for the American Civil Liberties Union.

The ACLU and its statist members are against it for entirely different reasons, I am sure.

I like how Arpaio is using the inmates to pedal stationary bikes to create the electricity for them to watch their TVs. I wish we could get every inmate in America to pedal 8 hours a day to create the electricity to power the jails in their entirety.

Mexico opens California office to provide ID for illegals
By: Sara A. Carter
June 3, 2010

The Mexican government is opening a satellite consular office on Catalina Island -- a small resort off the California coast with a history of drug smuggling and human trafficking -- to provide the island's illegal Mexican immigrants with identification cards, The Washington Examiner has learned.

The Mexican consular office in Los Angeles issued a flier, a copy of which was obtained by The Examiner, listing the Catalina Island Country Club as the location of its satellite office. It invites Mexicans to visit the office to obtain the identification, called matricular cards, by appointment.

Rep. Dana Rohrabacher, a Republican whose district includes Catalina Island, said handing out matricular cards will exacerbate an already dangerous situation.

"Handing out matricular cards to Mexicans who are not in this country legally is wrong no matter where it's done," he said. "But on Catalina it will do more damage. It's a small island but there's evidence it's being used as a portal for illegals to access mainland California."

Rohrabacher added, "If there were a large number of Americans illegally in Mexico and the U.S. consulate was making it easier for them to stay, Mexico would never permit it."

Illegal Immigrant Admits Killing Former Homecoming Queen

Published June 17, 2010
| Associated Press

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- A young man has admitted killing an Alabama woman and accepted a plea deal that requires him to spend 51 years in prison.

The Knoxville News Sentinel reports that Valentino Vasquez Miranda, a 20-year-old Mexican who is in the U.S. illegally and does not speak English, signed the deal Thursday and is awaiting a judge's approval.

Miranda was working at a Knoxville Days Inn in September 2008 when guest Jennifer Hampton of Waterloo, Ala., disappeared. Police believe Miranda used a master key to enter the room.

The 21-year-old former homecoming queen was raped and strangled and her nude body was found in a lake several days later.

See, he was here to WORK at the hotel. He wanted a better life. He wanted freedom. He wanted his poor innocent children to be able to vote. He wanted a peaceful place to live his life. He was doing the job that Americans won't do. He allows the fruit to be picked and the dishes to be washed and the sheets to be laundered. He is noble and pure and filled with third world goodness and just wants a chance. He was here making our economy stronger. He was like the poor man who worked in Saratoga who was recently convicted of rape and kidnapping of a young college aged lady. What a saint.

Do I sound like anybody?
