Proctor's is a taxpayer money pit. They need constant taxpayer infusions to keep on the lights. Despite his hot air the quality of Channel 16 has tanked since he took over. Now they want to unplug Schenectady Today? The Gazetto should be ashamed they actually supported this takeover.

Schenectady Today is probably one of the worst television shows in the world, but \Morris should release his financial records. He has driven the finances into the ground, and he walks around like a god telling how many thousand people come downtown now. The bottom line is Proctors went too far under his misguided leadership and my guess is that it will eventually bring down the City Dems when people stop donating to his money pit and they see that he ruined a good thing. Ask around, the people that support Proctors are nice to him but there are rumblings of a change in the Guild room.

"Improving SACC" by bringing in more Laroche/NPR type shows? Schenectady Today is like watching paint dry but it is locally produced. The thing about the big shows is the huge cost of production-if they break even it's a good thing.

     Morris is wasting thousands on mass mailers and self promotion. Proctor's is a financial sinkhole-hopefully the hatred acquisition of Key Bank for a socialist banquet hall will be his last straw. Even City DEMS are furious at another building yanked off the tax rolls.

Proctors isn't the only company lining Morris's pockets.  There's more - and more handouts in other "ventures" ... wait for it, the news is coming soon.

As long as proctors is being kept afloat with taxpayer's money, there should be no problem seeing the financial records.

First he tried to build a Power Plant to pay his bills...FAILED, then he tried to do meetings to pay his bills....FAILED, now he is trying to steal State School AID, Public Access Fees, and Wedding Business from local restaurants.....Any predictions?

Another hilarious editorial in the Gazetto demanding that the SACC hand over the $100,000 to Mercury Morris. Now they can't make the promised improvements? lol. How come after 10 years of alleged "renaissance" a huge building on "revitalized" Broadway only goes for peanuts and the only bidder is another non-profit? Take another look at Van Vranken Avenue.
