Wasn't that an issue for C. Lazz in her last attempted run? She accepted 'grant', taxpayer's money for her historic barn! That didn't rest well with most taxpayers.

"Her" historic barn is your historic barn...it is open to the public.  It is the last Dutch Barn in the area that is both fully restored
and remains in its original location.
It is worthy to note that the $15K grant, after taxes (that's right, a TAX on a grant - only in NY!) was minimal compared with the
actual cost to Mrs. Lazzari and her family. The personal expense and sacrifices made to preserve this historical landmark structure
were significant.
She also invested some $60k of her own money...financed through the subdivision and sale of her private property. There is not
a single personal item in the barn...but the Lazzari family maintains it and insures it, at their own expense...while a portion of her
property is forever lost at a profit of less than zero, and her investment continues with no return.
Naturally these facts are never included in convenient campaign "literature", as that would not serve the purpose of generating
the "outrage" intended by designer queen Brian Quail and the Democrats.

How about a little reality check here ~ Eunice isn't going anywhere ~ because her violation doesn't come close to an action that would warrant her removal or a forced resignation ~ So move on already.

Next ~ yes ~ Jerry should be given the information and Godlewski and the gang are out of line by not providing it.  Is Jerry playing politics?  Sure he is ~ but that's why the Reps put him in there.  He's not in office to run for re-election ~ he's in office to create as much havoc as possible to damage the Dems and exploit their failings ~ that's politics.

As for praising the secretary for writing a grant?  Really?  At her rate of pay she had better produce some results for the town ~ and pick up the phone ~ do the oil changes on the cop cars ~ and clean the toilets if it needs to be done.

Bitter Reps that lost your way ~ people are sick of you bashing anyone and everyone who disagrees with you ~ find the common ground and find a vision for the town.

Excellent points Gadfly!!  According to the expert at the NYS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation that barn could be the premier for the State.   By the time Carolina is done she will have invested way more than $60,000 to preserve this treasure.  She and her family should be commended for their extreme efforts.  Not only did she get taxed on the grant, she also was forced to pay for a variance when she subdivided the property because vacant land cannot have a structure on it without paying a variance.  Talk about a stupid code!  We have lots of them in Rotterdam.  $400.00 for a variance.  Now the barn was there long before, but she had to pay for a technicality?  And where did that $400.00 cost get justified??  No where!

I guess people beliove what they want to. If you know Mrs. Lazzari you know she would have never taken public money for personal gain. In fact I think that the accusations bothered her more than losing the election to the Leg.

Uh.. please read what I wrote again..  I was merely pointing out that someone would Kill their Karma by not believing someone who is fighting Abroad.  I in no way , shape, or form disbelieve what Giantsfan says. Do NOT lump me into anyone who disbelieves him.  That is not my style.  I know a few vets as it is and wouldn't disgrace them that way either.  

Sorry your a bit wrong lumping me in.  Please reread what I wrote.

I am not the one who continues to bring up what I do for a living or where I am.  I gave the information in response to something some one stated.  Sense then almost every post directed at me has had some reference to what I do and my location.  The blood is in the water and some decided to run with it.  They got a hold of one tidbit and won't let it go.  That is their problem not mine.  I already stated that if you don't trust where I am that I am sure the admins on this board can verify what I stated.

Back to what this post was about.  Has anyone heard anything further on Parisi's supposed request and FOIL?

You're right ~ that Karma thing has a way of coming back around.

I'm a 32 year old who's played video games since i was most likely 12.. not mocking, it's about a love for video games and tech stuff.  I"m a gamer and an IT person . My family has Iraq vets who would flog me endlessly.  I was actually trying to mock TBV getting the game names wrong then realized i was the one who was wrong to be honest.

I personally have no reason to doubt Giantsfan. If s/he were really lying about being in the armed forces and being in the middle east, protecting 'us' with his/her life,  would obviously be a travesty. But I doubt s/he would do that. I honestly doubt that anyone would do that. I may be naive...but that's how I see it. And actually who the hell cares!!!

Let's get back on topic about parisi's FOILS. Did he get the information yet?
