Police say couple had pot in car ROTTERDAM — Two Rotterdam residents face marijuana charges after a Tuesday morning traffic stop, state police said. Edwin Kurtzner, 61, and his wife Donna Kurtzner, of Phillips Road, were each charged with one count of third-degree criminal possession of marijuana. Edwin Kurtzner was pulled over by state police Tuesday morning for a traffic violation. State police then discovered eight ounces of marijuana, police said. A search of the Kurtzners’ home found another 12 ounces of marijuana. The couple was arraigned and released to return to court later. More arrests are expected.
