There is a universe of roughly 15 previous YES votes from which Democrats are worried about losing a handful.

Right now, it looks like they can afford to lose NO MORE than 7 of these YES votes most of which will come from the Democratic anti-abortion rights crowd.

The first six names below are of most concern to the Democratic leadership and most likely to bolt.

Stupak
Carney
Rahall
Berry
Driehaus
Arcuri
Dahlkemper
Pomeroy
Ellsworth
Hill
Grijalva
Gutierrez
Owens
Cardoza
Costa

The first nine names listed below are the top tier NO-to-YES targets for the Democratic leadership out of this group of 15.  And no Democrat on the Hill seems to think leadership will get all nine of them to flip which is why Democrats are trying to keep their YES defectors above to seven at a maximum.

Baird
Gordon
Altmire
Boccieri
Kosmas
Murphy
Markey
Teague
Kucinich
Tanner
Boyd
Matheson
Nye
Barrow
Childers
Davis - TN

Vivat Jesus
Knights of Columbus, Fourth Degree
In Him, all things are possible

got this in an email..................

A recent "Investor's Business Daily" article provided very interesting statistics from a survey by the United  Nations International Health Organization.

Percentage of men and women who survived a cancer five years after diagnosis:

U.S.             65%

England       46%

Canada        42%

Percentage of patients diagnosed with diabetes who received  treatment within six months:

U.S.             93%

England       15%

Canada        43%

Percentage of seniors needing hip replacement who received it  within six months:

U.S.             90%

England       15%

Canada        43%

Percentage referred to a medical specialist who see one  within one month:

U.S.             77%

England       40%

Canada        43%

Number of MRI scanners (a prime diagnostic tool) per million people:

U.S.             71

England       14

Canada        18

Percentage of seniors (65+), with low income, who say they are in "excellent  health":

U.S.             12%

England       2%

Canada        6%

I don't know about you, but I don't want "Universal Healthcare" comparable to   England or Canada .

Moreover, it was Sen. Harry  Reid who said, "Elderly Americans must learn to accept the inconveniences of  old age."

SHIP HIS a** TO CANADA OR ENGLAND !

He is  "elderly" himself but be sure to remember his health insurance is different from yours as Congress has their own high-end coverage!  He will never  have to learn to accept  "inconveniences"!!!

AND THE  WINNER IS VERY INTERESTING!

the percentage of each  past president's cabinet who had worked in the private business sector prior  to their appointment to the cabinet. You know what the private business sector  is... a real life business, not a government job. Here are the  percentages.

T. Roosevelt........  38%

Taft.....................40%

Wilson ..................  52%

Harding..................49%

Coolidge..............  48%

Hoover................. 42%

F. Roosevelt.........  50%

Truman..................50%

Eisenhower...........  57%

Kennedy..............  30%

Johnson.................47%

Nixon...................  53%

Ford..................... 42%

Carter..................  32%

Reagan...................56%

GH Bush................. 51%

Clinton  ................. 39%

GW Bush................ 55%

And the winner  of the Chicken Dinner is:
Obama................ 8%  !
Is this because he wants to be the smartest one in the room?

Yep! That's right! Only Eight Percent!!!..the least by far of  the last 19 presidents!! And these people are trying to tell our big  corporations how to run their business? They know what's best for  GM...Chrysler... Wall Street... and you and me?

When he campaigned...he said that he would 'fundamentally change American'. Universal Healthcare is the Holy Grail for the liberal socialist dems. This has been planned for 50 years. Since FDR. The liberal socialists KNOW that the more entitlements they provide, at taxpayer's expense, the longer they will be in power.

Sheople actually have a love affair with and for 'entitlements'. And the liberal socialists know that.

I have to agree with Reid that elderly folks(not just Americans) have a learning curve.....it's not sexy in America to be old.....but, that can be changed with grace......it's just what happens to us...is it fun
nah,,,,but, it can be made fun........

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

STOP BEING GOOD DEMOCRATS---STOP BEING GOOD REPUBLICANS--START BEING GOOD AMERICANS
