Lauren Stanforth{TU}-An 11 year old is in grave condition after being shot and found on the ground in Jerry Burrell Park in Hamilton Hill. Also, a 20 year old man was shot in the chest nearby on Albany Street at 2:15 pm today. An SPD spokesman says the shootings were related.
The SPD is looking for a green BMW that was seen in the area. Anyone with any information is urged to immediately call the SPD.
SPD is also investigating a slashing of a woman nearby on the corner of Albany and Craig Streets. A semi-automatic handgun and the BMW have been located. No one is yet in custody.
