YUP!  Ritter committed a crime in 2010.

So that invalidates his inspections from 1991 through 1998 Right???

Right???  REALLY???  RIGHT???

(Same logic...)

Richard Nixon committed a crime in '67...
So everything he did from  1913 through 1994 is invalid.

Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

You're right, you got me, it doesn't invalidate his inspections between 91-98.  Then why did Clinton bomb Iraqi WMD facilities if Ritter said there were no WMD's in 98?  It just isn't adding up.  President Clinton bombed WMD factories in 98 and then multiple prominent Democrats from 99 through 02 make public statements confirming Iraqi WMD's, yet Bush/Cheney/Rove/Haliburton manipulated the whole thing.  Do you know how illogical you sound?  Man...You're a lost cause.

The most dangerous man to any government is the man who is able to think things out for himself, without regard to the prevailing superstitions and taboos. Almost inevitably he comes to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane and intolerable, and so, if he is romantic, he tries to change it. And even if he is not romantic personally he is apt to spread discontent among those who are. ~ H.L. Mencken

Obama was passed the buck by Bush

There has been a recent spate of letters to your paper blaming President Obama for everything from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, to the Gulf oil disaster to being a socialist dictator.
Apparently the new right-wing talking points include 18 months as a proper time in office to blame Obama for everything. I am guessing these were written to persuade your readers under the age of 10 with no cognitive memory of the George W. Bush presidency. Well, let’s take a look back.
George Bush and the Republicans had complete control of the executive, judicial and congressional branches for six long years from 2000-2006.
In that time they achieved the following:
They let 9/11 happen, where over 2,700 innocent Americans lost their lives.
They took a record surplus of $233 billion (CNN, Sept. 27, 2000) and turned it into a record defi cit.
They had closed-door meetings with energy industry lobbyists which set our future policy for decades, creating the Gulf oil disaster.
They started two unwinnable wars where thousands of American service personnel and thousands of other innocents lost their lives.
In 2008, out of desperation, Bush spent almost $150 billion for an economic stimulus that failed.
    I could go on.
President Bush left a huge pile of festering problems for President Obama to inherit. Our current president is doing his best. Here is one last thought for you right-wingers concerned about your personal wealth: Maybe you should move to communist China? You see, they have millionaires being created every day. How, you ask? They spent $568 billion on their 2008 economic stimulus bailout. So right-wingers, pack up the kids and head east.
