Yep,  DM evil alter-ego (split personality) is peeper.  I'm told the side of Diane I knew, professional and friend, has always had this ruthless, evil political "other side".  Something I never thought her possible of until she joined this forum, but now she's made it very evident.

There is definitely a mental thing going on there, but maybe that is what it takes to run the
town clerk's office, just ask the one on ahem on "sick" leave.....

The town needs an enema....and it needs to start with sewers.....we have nothing here for anyone other than the elderly and kids.....the 'tweeners' are left with what? and Schenectady county should be ashamed
of itself......the county does more red lining and handing out.....the state just cant get out of it's way........

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

And if DM ISN'T Peeper, she may want to clear her name and reputation because as limited as this Forum's membership may be in comparison to the entire Town of Rotterdam, word travels quickly when someone behaves in this manner.

I have never heard anyone mention this blog. However, I do hear people 'out there' with the same sentiments as many have here.

On topic.........People can come up with all of the best suggestions for improving rotterdam, but it is a town that breeds and feeds on political contempt. It's in the drinking water, I swear!

I am either a past, present or future member of the Rotterdam TB.  Or maybe all of the above or maybe one or two of the above.

In reality who really cares who any of us are?  This blog epitomizes Rotterdam politics. It is so Rotterdam.

Save Rotterdam.....can only be saved by the taxpayers of Rotterdam:

Elected officials should have education and experience in government and planning....

  Spot zoning should be stopped.......

empty buildings... charge rent to owners (or demand taken down at owner's expense)

seems people appointed are by who they "know" ...NOT what they know...and take advantage of the power    handed to them...

.this blog is no different then what goes on in a daily dialogue throughout this community.....stories are spun and in ways that benefits the "storyteller....the truth is not transparent...

No more apartment/condo building.....need AFFORDABLE housing not just for seniors but average families...

Security at the Mall....get rid of the riff-raff.

NEW taxes - like a REMS taxing district.

The most dangerous man to any government is the man who is able to think things out for himself, without regard to the prevailing superstitions and taboos. Almost inevitably he comes to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane and intolerable, and so, if he is romantic, he tries to change it. And even if he is not romantic personally he is apt to spread discontent among those who are. ~ H.L. Mencken

Why is that, because he ruffled the feathers of your cop buddies?  At least he knew where Rotterdam taxpayers were getting raked over the coals - the police department.  Wasn't politically popular - but true.

Has Rich paid those back taxes on the bar yet?

I don't understand why everyone is trying to bash/out DVR. He is the only one on this blog trying to put up positive ideas without personal attacks yet the response from you all is to go after him. Seriously people what is wrong with you?
