Ron Paul Launches Presidential Campaign
By Cameron Joseph

Updated: April 25, 2011 | 8:38 p.m.

Rep. Ron Paul's long-held advocacy of smaller government and less taxes has made him a tea party hero.
Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, whose outspoken libertarian views and folksy style made him a cult hero during two previous presidential campaigns, will announce on Tuesday that he's going to try a third time.
Sources close to Paul, who is in his 12th term in the House, said he will unveil an exploratory presidential committee, a key step in gearing up for a White House race. He will also unveil the campaign’s leadership team in Iowa, where the first votes of the presidential election will be cast in caucuses next year.................>>>>..................>>>>..............................http://www.nationaljournal.com/politics/ron-paul-launches-presidential-campaign-20110425

You don't have freedom because you are a hyphenated American; you have freedom because you are an individual, and that should be protected.

Adam Kokesh now has his own show "Adam VS The Man". You might remember Adam from the last campaign for RP, a veteran of Iraq who has been a great talker/supporter of the Liberty movement. Any ways in this show Adam talks to 2 other Veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan as to why they support Ron Paul and why they're starting a new Veterans for Ron Paul group. As a bonus Adam has on Peter Schiff, a true free market economist who has been spot on and predicted the troubles we are in. Enjoy

Awesome interview.  We should have elected him the last time.  Brilliant man.  Unfortunately,  because some of us think we deserve everything for nothing he can be scary.  It's time we took care of ourselves and get back to the basics.

The more votes Paul draws away from any Republican candidate, the less votes Obama needs to win.

That's actually what other people were saying with the last Presidential election.  The funny thing is, look at the 2 main party choices we were left with on election day.  You couldn't fully say that there was a major difference between the 2.  In the primaries, people didn't want to go with the person who stood for what our country should be standing for.  Then, when it came to the general election, people decided that they didn't like both choices so they stayed home, or they figured that if we were going to have a Democrat / Socialist in office, it might as well be one on that party line, not elect a "Republican" with Democrat / Socialist values.

This time around, the Republican party will (hopefully) smarten up and go with the appropriate choice.  If they don't, then yes, you will probably see Obama with another term.  2008 may have shown Ron Paul in a national version of our latest election (in the role of the NNTP), giving Obama the seat.  Now, it is time for the national Republican Party to do the same as the Rotterdam Republican Party and get their acts together.

Barack Obama won the presidency in 2008 with 69,499,428 votes... it was the largest vote in history and 71/2 million more votes than cast for GWB  in 2004.

Actually Ron Paul will get the majority of the youth vote which him and Obama split last time. The younger generation wanted him to reverse the policies of Bush but as we see he did no such things. The youth voted for him in numbers to end the wars, repeal the Patriot Act, and end Gitmo, in a way to shrink government. Now that Obama turned out to be a flop he doesn't have the youth anymore nor the motivated supporters like last time. Another thing I will predict is a huge drop in minority voters (especially the black vote)  which sealed the deal for Obama last time.

Also to point out according to Rasmussen Paul stands the best chance out of the GOP candidates to beat Obama

Sorry but your link is dated "Wednesday, April 14, 2010"... Kind of stale news for a poll.
