Don't you ask why the men and women that saved a persons life and their ability to save future lives is held hostage by a state license that permits you to save lives?  Doesn't that strike you as bizarre?  Get rid of the f'n license.  Option 3 never discussed.

4 years ago, I promised to support the candidates who supported REMS over Mohawk Ambulance.  I reiterate that promise today.

Perhaps you could share the names of those who support the REMS?

Many town residents support REMS.   We know which politicians do NOT support REMS, and that at least tells us who NOT to support.

Perhaps you could share the names of those politicians who don't support the REMS?

This is what the town voted for in the past two elections. Get over it.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

What we are missing here is Wayne Calders son in law is the operations director for Mohawk, and this was a secret back door deal they didn't Evan want anyone to know about. REMS has the plan in motion and will hire all the town medics and will continue to provide paramedic level care. There will be no line in the budget to support REMS. The politicians are winning because they all ER paid off by Mohawk, get raises with the paramedic money and keep all the towns people under informed so they make uneducated comments and know nothing about EMS or how the system works.

There should have NEVER been a line in the budget to support rems!!! Rems boasted that they could and would run the ambulance service as a 'real private business'. They were set up to do 'hard billing'...NOT! They were going to pay the taxpayers back for the als service....NOT! And they (rems) STILL sent out letters to the taxpayers begging for MORE donations!!!!

Honestly.....i am hard pressed to believe that Cialisdoor's soninlaw was the deciding factor. By the way....how did Cialisdoor vote under fdg's administration? If memory serves me correctly.....Cialisdoor supported rems over mohawk.....correct me if i'm wrong.

And i hardly believe that there was a 'payoff'.............that is a bit of a stretch!

REMS needs to have a good old fashioned Rotterdam fun raiser at DeCarlos West(5 Corners)
They can cut a deal with all the parents who are willing to offer up their teenage daughters who play sports, cheer and dance to wash cars in short shorts and white tshirts

The problem is REMS would not have the BALLS to collect their share when the hoes bat their eye lashes

2 things that need to go

The degrading of our daughters - the 5 corners hoe show
And
REMS

You do know that the RECOMMENDATION to build two roundabounts at 5 Corners was
a)only a RECOMMENDATION,
b) that the RECOMMENDATION came from a engineering firm and NOT from any person or governmental body within the town and
c) would require the state and town finding $10 million dollars to fund the project and actually be put on the State D.O.T.'s 5 year plan for projects to be funded.

Now I happen to believe that the two roundabout proposal would be BETTER than the existing nightmare at 5 corners,  But there was at least a couple of other potential solutions -- more expensive -- that would probably be less popular than roundabouts.  But I think the town and the state are a LONG way away from actually implementing any major road project at 5 Corners.
