well,,,,,that IS a fact for all of us....the sad part is that BOTH dems/reps have a penchant for labeling us....as if seniors are
different than anyone else when it comes to healthcare....

fact: the odds of treating an unhealthy young person are better than treating a healthy elder body....

I work in healthcare/insurance/medicine and yes, there are time limits as to the 'quickness of cure'....you either meet that or
.....that's it.....

there are palliative care teams in all hospitals now.....they are VERY active....they are the misconstrued 'death panels',
called that because society doesn't understand it's own aging process much less disease processes.....

so you can't just tack this on the republicans because in the end it IS all about the best bang for the buck especially when
using public $$ for everyone across the spectrum....

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

80% Male GOP Congress Introduces 5 Abortion Restriction Bills In Its First Week

The GOP War On Women Continues!

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

Yes Cicero.  If the Republicans have their way, it is their health plan.

So should we conclude by Cissy's post, that he can't come up with anything the GOP did
to help the working class in the last 6 years?

I'm classified as working class(I think) based on political pandering.  I can't think of anything either criminal party has done for me.  So yeah...ya got me!  Can't come up with anything.

The Texas congressman said that if Mr. Obama persists in executing the office of the
Presidency as defined by the Constitution, he could face “impeachment and/or deportation.”

“Strikingly, Congress and Republicans haven’t seen their numbers go up.
Just 16% approve of Congress’ job (unchanged since December), and only 23% approve of the job congressional
Republicans are doing.

“And then there are the parties’ fav/unfav numbers. The public gives the GOP a 25%-46% rating, down from 30%-45% a month ago.
By comparison, Democrats are at 35%-38%, when they were at 37%-39% in December.
Bottom line: You can hardly tell from our NBC/WSJ poll that the Republican Party was the big winner from the midterm
elections just two months ago.
Somehow, Obama and the Democrats stole the Republicans’ post-election honeymoon. Or the Republicans somehow lost it.”
