I want to thank everyone for all the prayers and well wishes. Madeline means the world to us and it's so scary to think we may lose her soon. She has an inoperable tumor in her brain stem which is very rare and does not respond to chemo. We have the best doctors from around the country looking at her case but what we need is a miracle because they all say there is nothing we can do. So please pray for her and for her sisters and her family.

Madeline Musto is a fun loving, energetic 5 year old that lives in Schenectady, NY with her parents, sisters and dog Sparky. Her family recieved this terrible news on February 3, 2012. This site will be used to support the Musto family in their time of need. They have all touched our lives with their Musto Magic! Now it's time for us to give them a miracle!

Schenectady Ski School instructor Freddie Anderson, 91, who has been skiing since she was 3 years old, skis at Maple Ski Ridge on Wednesday Feb. 1, 2012 in Rotterdam, NY. ROTTERDAM — Frederica "Freddie" Anderson started skiing as a preschooler on the hills of the Mohawk Golf Club in Niskayuna during the Roaring Twenties, when she strapped on gangly wooden slats with leather-laced bindings.

Anderson embodies the region's rich history of downhill skiing.

Local Servicewoman Surprises Family

ROTTERDAM -- She has been overseas serving our country as a member of the Air Force for two years now, but on Thursday Airman First Class Megan Gibson finally got a chance to come home to the Capital Region.  

Gibson, who is native of Rotterdam, surprised her 6-year old sister Gabby Holden at the Bradt Primary School during the girl's gym class.  The surprise was set-up by their mother, Audrey Holden.  

"I was going to go to England to see Meg but then we decided to take my ticket and get a refund and fly Meg out here so we could all get to spend time with her but mostly so her sister could see her," says Holden who facilitated the surprise visit at school today.
