If that were true I wouldn't respond now...and I would not remain active in politics. No one who really knows me paid any attention
to it...they recognized it for what it was...an act of desperation on the part of our political opponents...just as you are now using it
for your own desperate cause. Dismissed charges filed by thin-skinned politicians does not produce a criminal record.

And by the way, speaking of cowards, where were you while taxpayer money was being wasted by THOSE politicians...not to mention
the gross abuse of authority by DA Carnival Bob in exchange for a political endorsement he never should have had...and which
needlessly cost taxpayers untold amounts of money for the sole purpose of failed attempts to stifle political opposition.

YOU sir, are the real hypocrite.

Now...how about redirecting your unrelated discussion to one of the several other threads you started just to repeat the same things
over and over on all of them...aren't those enough? Is it really necessary to hijack other threads on which there are actually
meaningful discussions in progress?

If that mailer was not true then why not defend yourself now!! Unless you DID the things that the mailer pointed out about your criminal record. Your just like Amedore is running away and not responding after wasting taxpayer dollars on his lawyers Amedore never show up at court, what a COWARD!! you two are just a like

I already did...and it is obvious that you conveniently ignored my response and my questions about your hypocrisy.
Continuing to insist that dismissed charges is a criminal record is pretty pathetic...and it will not produce the response
you're hoping for.

If this is the best you can do for Angelo, he has no chance.

Once the people find out that your helping Amedore he will probably lose a third of their support!

getting back to the thread.....

REMS can have all their ambulances deployed at all the various kids games in the town and yet have to leave to answer another call.....dont tell me or sell to me the better service.....it's NOT GUARANTEED...
never has been and never will be.....let it be private and let the consumer use and choose their ride......we dont need to keep tax payers alive via ANOTHER tax....it makes no sense.....

the tax district is the fairest way to pay for a vital public service   .. but frankly .. I'd hope that the Town
Board just drops the whole referendum .. and continue to fund REMS through the General Fund like we
have for the past 2 years.

And what if it was a separate line in the general election? Wouldn't EVERYONE get a vote?

DVOR favors using our tax money without giving us a say on whether or not we want to fund REMS thru the general fund. That kind of thinking is exactly why we the people are going to make some changes in Congress this November and it's going to cost some Dems their jobs.

Just think......The already overburdened taxpayer would save $120,000 per year!!!! WOW....just think of what rotterdam could do with that, huh? One would think that in this recession/depression, government would look for ways to ease the tax burden on it's residents. Not in rotterdam!!! They just keep piling it on!

So, are you saying that the ENTIRE $100,000 would go to the town of Rotterdam?  Then in that case, I wonder, how much was it that Paul Tonko (D-Amsterdam) spends sending mailers, you know, like the one that my wife received letting us know that he visited the church across the street when they were gambling and drinking away???  And he's only been doing it for what, 30+ years?  If you're upset about this, then I guess you'll be voting for Ted Danz?

only if they were paid to sit there......so either way it behooves the taxpayers to 'pay as they use it'.....not finance something that isn't
needed for survival of a town.......it's not vital.....never has been......BTW the difference between BLS and ALS is what in $$??????

no funding....get off my back

Possibly I can't stand the corruption we face in Albany today, promises to cut wasteful spending and then continue to spend all this taxpayer money on mailers!! I say vote them all out!!!
