And so after 20+ years of Mallozzi getting a free ride without paying for sewers, who brought it up? Everyone in town knew it for years.

It only came up during Brick's presentation...ND confirmed that the Mallozzi sewer connection was never approved, and referred to it as
an illegal sewer. There was much discussion about "fair and reasonable rates" that will be paid to the town, to be agreed upon between
the parties involved and the town. So my question is this: Can the town force Mallozzi's to pay back fees, and/or fine them for what
appears to have been confirmed as an illegal connection?

nahhhhh. they banked on an ever-lasting and eternal liberal rule too. Until they end up on the dock too. Nuremburg had a long line to hang. Some others will join it.

You know, trying to listen to the board members (which is quite interesting considering the Supervisor didn't have a voice tonight) has been very difficult this year.  For some reason, it almost reminds me of the switchover at the White House from Clinton to Bush 43.  You remember, they came in and there was not a single W to find on a keyboard.  Well, it appears that with the outgoing Republican crowd, they may have taken the functioning PA system with them.  If you actually want to hear any of the meeting, I suggest you get there extra early and get a seat towards the front of the crowd.  Towards the end of the meeting I decided to take a seat up towards the front (after many people had left) and ended up sitting next to Diane Marco.  I could finally hear almost everything that was going on.

Be careful, those with little imagination may wind up perpetuating another theft myth just because all they know how to do is be nasty (in absence of being intelligent.)

When is there a public hearing? In front of the TB, planning or zoning board?

And as for this agenda, CDTA wants to stop service on Hamburg St, oh I am sure the business owners there will love that, as they are trying to rebuild the street.

I apologize for falling short of replying to this.  There was a resolution at the County Legislature Tuesday night for the purchase of land for the Little League.  As one off the stipulations for the county purchasing this land, the previous owner (Tim Larned) has to get town approval to build all the apartments on the Triangle.

The sale portion of this has been approved.  Now, it's just a matter of things moving at the town level to allow Mr. Larned to do what he wants to do.  This was NOT on the agenda for Wednesday's meeting, so I assume that it may be something that could come up on the next agenda.  I would watch carefully and keep an eye.  They may try to slip this in as soon as the next meeting.  I guess they couldn't do it tonight as the agenda was written up a week and a half ago.

On the PA, fixing it would be a "professional service" - thus "No Bid"

just wait "sync"and "galessi" will create the same thing and go unnoticed
another theft of service

A Democratic administration turns on one of their own who is also a substantial donor to the party and its candidates?
Isn't Bobby on the IDA?

Perhaps, now that the Republican party in Schenectady County has self-destructed, the Dems are turning on each other out of lust for power?

I am all for development in rotterdam. Smart, well thought out, business/resident friendly development. I also understand that we are to give our new town board 'time' to sort things out and get a feel for what issues are pressing to the town so they can make well informed decisions. I can not believe that this present town board has had the time to gather such information. The decision at last nights meeting proved just that.

The residents NEVER heard from ALL of the members on 'why' they chose to vote 'yes' to the Iovanella development. Parisi expressed his concerns and reason for voting 'no'. Bob 'no change', just babbled on and on as usual. YAWN!
Speaking of YAWN, FDG actually nodded off occasionally!

It has become apparent, that the decisions made by the majority of this present town board, was based exclusively on what the 'other dems' instructed and told them. Not through their own research into the issue. DM got up to speak as a 'character witness' for Iovanella. Sorry, but in my opinion, this wasn't a vote on someones character as much as it was as a quality of life issue for the residents. But this town board bought it hook, line and sinker.

This present town board is exactly what the liberal socialists want.....PUPPETS! Not independent thinkers.

Give them time??? We have no choice now do we? Time is about all we got!

I thought that they didn't comment on issues in Nov and December - cause they were planning on "hitting the ground running January 1" ?

Like Obama, how long WILL it take?

You could obviously tell that Bob no change, is skirting every issue with his babble. Although they said during the campaign that they were ready to hit the ground running, they don't have a clue. Mr. No Change, continually tries to blame 'everything' on the previous administration. Now perhaps that may be true in some strange circumstance, but how about knowing how to respond to FOILS?  How bout asking EE on how things are done? How bout looking in file cabinets?

We are paying for how many attorneys? We are paying how much for a 'special secretary' who obviously has to attend all meetings so she can remind FDG of what actually was said while he dozed off?

They are clearly way over their head! Scary stuff here folks!

Bobby Iovinella wins zoning change

Iovinella’s rezone was passed?   I thought it was confirmed at the public hearing on 2/24 that the taxes were delinquent on that parcel?   What’s with that?
