Iovinella’s rezone was passed?   I thought it was confirmed at the public hearing on 2/24 that the taxes were delinquent on that parcel?   What’s with that?

his dead ancestors were abdicated of that????

Hey Bumble I was there for a bit and I didn't see FDG snoozing.  Will agree about Bob--he did ramble a bit.  Actually it looked to me like FDG wants to be in charge of his own agenda.  Didn't stay long-just long enough.  Also agree it was a bit of a YAWN.  BUT  no worse than ST and the gang.  And BTW you should tell your buddy Parisi-to get the smirk off his face during the meeting.  He seems to emit an air of superiority and arrogrance which reduces him to nothing more than a boor.

Boom - FDG was snoozin' at 8:45....really!

As far as GP....I am not a fan of the guy....but I will tell you that he shines in comparison. And perhaps ST and his administration were a bore on occasion, but at least they 'talked' and 'engaged in conversation' with the residents.

And I do agree...that it appears that FDG would like to be in charge, but they put the brakes on him. I'd snooze too! But in all fairness, none of them are either not allowed, or choose not to talk and engage in any dialog with the residents. The only one who has a pass to talk is the 'rambling rose'!

GP talks. And perhaps that is due to his past experience or because he has brains.

And again I was disappointed to not see republican politicos there. Agree with the reps or not, it is essential to our government to give 'we the people' equal representation. Rotterdam currently does not experience that. Shame on the Reps.

Emitting superiority when in the company of the motley crew he share the rest of the Town Board with - is probably due to the HUGE gap of working knowledge of Town government he has over the rest of those stooges.  Luckily he was sitting on the board to confront Pigliavento's lawyer in regards to the sewer line that Mallozzi is ILLEGALLY hooked into since 1986.  Godlewski was admittedly lost during the whole exchange.  DiLeva attempted to understand it.  FDG was dozing off.  And Martin was counting the minutes until the end of the meeting, so he could go play XBOX.

Kudos to GP for not allowing those hooked into this line to drag their feet for another god knows how many years without paying for service.

The most dangerous man to any government is the man who is able to think things out for himself, without regard to the prevailing superstitions and taboos. Almost inevitably he comes to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane and intolerable, and so, if he is romantic, he tries to change it. And even if he is not romantic personally he is apt to spread discontent among those who are. ~ H.L. Mencken

they are all just sitting back waiting for their 'retirements' via the county queen....allowing Rotterdam to become the dumping ground for the city vagrants and crappy
'gifts' from the county (that NO ONE CAN AFFORD).....they really dont care.....ND is just another thread to keep their web together....they all have their heads against
their own personal trees...they never step back to see the forrest......and even if they did all it takes is just one Robin Hood to get their attention and affection....

First, they will claim that Mallozzi wasn't "illegal" because the town board in 1986 was aware and approved the hook up.  It's just that the rest of the town residents paid for the maintenance of that line for the past 24 years, because it's not a sewer district.  Hmmmm... Who was Town Supervisor in 1986?  Dirty,,Dirty Rotterdam.  It's like peeling the layers of an onion.  It's political incest.

Oh boy, someone might need to hire lawyers and go bankrupt defending themselves against such a "smear" against such "upstanding" people.

Does anybody actually know what Bob 'no change' is talking about here? By the time he's done talking, people are just looking at each other shrugging their shoulders! He goes on and on and on and in the end, nobody really knows what he said!

Bob 'no change' and GP were the only two who talked and even though I'm not a fan of GP....he ate 'no change' up and spit him out! And did anyone notice the little 'snicker' from 'no change' when GP wanted to explain his NO  vote?

And I have to say again....where the hell are all the reps? What did they do leave GP out to dry? (not that he can't handle himself) It certainly appears that way. We only see and hear from the reps when it's election time. They do the same thing at the county leg meetings. JS was running it solo! No support that I can see. IMHO

Agree with you Bumble, GP had an excellent suggestion to table the vote until the Board could put some conditions on the zoning.  It would have made sense because, as GP indicated, if a project ever comes along, this Board may no longer be there to remember the developer's promises.    But as we all know, the new admin has done nothing that makes sense and favors had to be repaid for those campaign donations.

As for "no change", his "sh!t sandwich" rivals the one that ND served up a couple meetings back!
